People seldom talk about speech problems, but speech, voice and language disorders are serious, treatable conditions that affect more than 14 million Americans.
Since 1927, May has been designated Better Speech and Hearing Month. Speaking comes so naturally for most of us that we take it for granted, however, for someone with a speech and language problem, words do not come easily.
