• Now for our Sports Program!' How about those Lady Panthers?!? State Champions! We could not be more proud of their accomplishments! Many in the community turned out for their Victory Parade on Sunday. What a joyful occasion for everyone!
• This victory was on the heels of Phillip Thomas’ and Ryisha Cook’s excellent showing at the State Track Meet, and outstanding Regional Tbumament play by our Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Tfeams. Spring can’t get much better than this!
• Tb top things off, Mr. Chris Johns, RCES parent and renowned National Geographic photographer, spent Wednesday morning at RCES showing our K-7th graders his movie, Cheetah Chase, and talking about his experiences and adventures as a photographer for National Geographic. What a thrill for our students!
• On Friday morning at 9 a.m. we will extend best wishes to our RCMS Seventh Graders as they leave RCES and move onward and upward to RCHS. It has been a quick eight years for these students and their parents, and we look ahead to their continued success at the next level.
• RCHS Graduation will be held on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in the RCHS gym. This wonderful group of graduates will be leaving us to lead exciting and productive lives in “the real world”. We wish them every success.
• Have a wonderful week and please encourage your children to read for pleasure this summer. Check out the Rappahannock County Public Library for a list of summer activities and services. Librarians David Schaefer and Jenny Glenn will be happy to help you and your children find the perfect book!
