On that subject, the phony “Tieckelmann” argues that it wasn’t heroin that killed my friend, but “bad heroin”. Excuse me for believing that all heroin is “bad heroin”.
The job is not to legalize drug addiction by legalizing drugs, but to eradicate this crap from our midst, to prevent the first impressionable, susceptible child from indulging in drugs to begin with. Now, I think that it goes without saying that as long as there is a demand there is going to be a supply. So eliminating demand is the great and perplexing challenge.
But neither can there be a supply without a supply, so what I talked about in the column was going after the dealers, those people in our midst who provide these hard drugs to our kids and to the addicts who already suffer. This Tieckelmann impostor would grant them “minority rights”.
In my first “Up in the Hollow” I mentioned Mark Twain’s quote about the person “educated beyond his intelligence.” This person pretending to be Bill Tieckelmann fits the bill. And I am sure the real Bill Tieckelmann is glad that I have cleared this matter up.
In memory of my husband J.T. and our father on Father's Day.
God saw him getting tired, and a cure was not to he. So he put his arms around him and whispered “Come With Me". With tearful eyes we watched him and saw him pass away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating. hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
We love you and miss you.
