And Newbill is rightly proud of these accomplishments. But, he is most proud of the results obtained by his commercial bull customers. For more than 10 years, Ginger Hill has sold the bulk of their bulls sight unseen to large commercial ranchers in southwestern Montana. These breeders routinely report harvesting Ginger Hill sired steers at 14 months of age that gained over 4 1/2 pounds per day with feed efficiency ratios of 5:1 and with 75% of the steers grading choice or better.
