The following night RCHS was able to play in front of a home crowd, hosting a matchup against Luray High School. The night got underway at 6 p.m. with the JV teams playing first. Behind strong serving, the young Lady Panthers were able to pull ahead early. The team recorded eight aces with a string of four in a row by Samantha Brown. RCHS won the first game 25-14.
The second game RCHS continued to serve well, recording 11 aces, and defeating Luray 2516. The -JV Panthers defeated Luray in two straight sets to earn its fourth win of the season.
Then it was time for the varsity team to play. Playing only once so far this season at home, the varsity team came out ready to play. RCHS jumped ahead in the first two games and won with scores of 25-17 and 25-21.
