Forest Grove Baptist Church on Oct. 11 at 8 a m.
Festivities include plenty of food, beverages and baked goods for purchase, live gospel music, a yard sale, horse rides and other children’s games and activities.
There will be a silent auction of framed civil war prints, Christmas items, a large oriental planter, an Indian doll and more. A beautiful, patriotic, afghan handmade by Betty Jenkins will be raffled. All proceeds go toward the restoration of the Forest Grove Baptist Church roof.
Of utmost interest, there will be an extensive photo display featuring local area (Castleton, Laurel Mills, etc.) residents dating from the early 1900s to the present.
There are still openings for vendors who wish to participate in the yard sale. The cost for a space is $10 outside (bring your own set up) and $15 inside (includes table space). If you have any photos to submit or any questions, please call Linda or Danny at 825-7799 or 937-4221.
