Anniversary
celebration
Rev. Donald Simpkins will celebrate his third anniversary as pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill on Sunday. Sept. 21 Rev. Rick Torrence, an associate minister of the Mount Olive Baptist in Arlington, will be the guest preacher for the 11 a m. worship service. The Hebrew Singers will provide special music.
Rev. Donald Reid, pastor of the Mount Paran Baptist Church in Linden, will deliver the anniversary celebration message at 3 p.m. His choir and congregation will accompany him. Lunch will be provided between services from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Enjoy a thought provoking discussion on nature and spirituality on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 3 p.m. with noted plant expert and artist, Nicky Staunton at the home of Bruce and Susan Jo.nes on Long Mountain Road in Rappahannock County.
Staunton will share her thoughts on plants and nature and how they connect to a person's own spirituality. There will be a slide presentation at 3 p.m. and a short nature walk. Light refreshments will follow. The Spirituality Series is open to the public. Please RSVP to
