In other matters Town Council member Claudia Mitchell addressed the board regarding a consultant in historical architecture. Mitchell said the Town Council approved $500 for this project at its meeting earlier in the week.
The consultant, she explained, will work to create a guide book as well as to update a series of town regulations which have gone unchanged since 1989.
Barton said that while he had no problem with Mitchell’s proposal he was unclear on how it would affect his board.
