Gladys W. Dodson

Amissville resident

Gladys Wilson Dodson, 88, of Amissville died Sept. 14 at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.

She was born July 5, 1915 in Culpeper to the late Thurman Joseph and Julia Thorn Wilson.

Mrs. Dodson wrote the Viewtown column for the Rappahannock News for many years Her daughter, -loan Reid now is the .author of it.

Mrs Dodson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Acrey Dodson, three brothers, William, Rodger and Thomas Wilson, one sister, Edna Knighting and one grandson, Dickie Reid.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Settle and Joan Reid both from Amissville, Rebecca Frazier of Rixeyville, Helen Dove Catlett, and two sons, Charles Dodson of Amissville and Billy Dodson of Culpeper.
