Free tutoring
for students
Trinity Church is offering free tutoring for any students in Rappahannock County. The program will begin on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall and will run every Thursday. Each tutoring session will last 20-30 minutes and parents will be required to wait during the session..
If possible call ahead for a tutoring time. Contact either Emma Sue Amos 675-2757 or Susan Laing 937-5957 for more information and to sign up.
Homecoming Day
Washington Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming Day on Sunday, Oct. 5. The guest preacher will be former pastor Rev. John Divers. The Southern Gospel group “Sons of Praise” from Lynchburg , will be singing in the morning program and will offer a miniconcert at 1:30 p.m. at the church. A covered-dish lunch will follow the morning worship service. The public is invited to attend. Fall Festival Oct. 11
