Forbush has participated in juried shows throughout the United States and has been the featured artist for posters and program covers for important horse events across Virginia and the southeast. She has painted commissions for numerous local residents and clients in Piedmont Virginia.
Forbush studied at the Maryland Art Institute, the Corcoran School of Art and Northern Virginia Community College. She paints in her studio in her home at Foxhall Farm, near Flint Hill.
