The article in last week’s edition of the
Rappahannock News concerning the Scrabble School restoration was timely and informative.
Citizens of Rappahannock have a noble opportunity with this restoration endeavor to preserve our heritage. Too many of our historic structures have met with the wreckingball and are no longer even a memory.
The Scrabble School is not only bricks and mortar, it is also (and probably more importantly! a testament to the lives of a community of people, families and individual children
