Sara Mills, of Amissville, wants to follow in her sister’s footsteps and become a nurse. “I might go into pediatrics,” she said.
Tenth grader Blair Atkins of Chester Gap said he’s “more of a computer person,” but he took the course to qualify as a life guard this summer. “It’s good to know this stuff.”
E. Jack Estes, a 10th grader from Washington, wants to follow his father into the Washington Fire and Rescue Company. Kim Hogan, also from Washington, “wanted to learn how to help people.”
