Hospice of the Rapidan’s Medical Director, Dr. Eve Bargmann, has recently been certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
Bargmann joins more than 1,500 fellow physicians in North America to have achieved such certification; a listing of currently certified physicians may be viewed on the board’s website at www.ABHPM.org. Bargmann has been the Medical Director for Hospice of the Rapidan since the fall of 2001.
Bargmann is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She specializes in internal medicine and practices with University Physicians in Orange and is a founding member of the Madison Free Clinic.
