Casino Night March 13
The Rappahannock County School Sports Association will sponsor the fourth Annual Casino Night at the Washington School on March 13 at 7 p.m. Admission is $30 per person and includes $10,000 of gaming money to use to play roulette, black jack, craps, etc. At the end of the evening, chips will be exchanged for raffle tickets for drawings for grand prizes donated by local supporters. Admission also includes hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks, with a cash bar available. Call Cathy Kreyling at 987-8131 to purchase tickets or get them at the RCHS concession stand at home games.
Ki Theatre fund-raiser
To help celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Ki Theatre invites theatre and music lovers to a fund-raiser at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill on March 13 from 5-9 p.m. Foot-tapping Irish, Scottish, and Shetland dance tunes are featured, as well as good food and a raffle of art by local artisans, artists, and photographers. St. Pat rick s celebration
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Farfelu Vineyards' "Erin Go Braugh Weekend” on March 13-14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The winery will have live Irish guitar and fiddle music by a roaring bonfire as well as complimentary pea soup and special discounts to anyone wearing green. Sufi Spring Social

4-H Livestock Club sale
The Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club is seeking items for its first JUMBLE Sale on Saturday. March 27 at the Flint Hill Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations of small furniture (chairs, lamps, tables, rugs,) paintings, drawings, tools or books are welcome (no clothing, please). Chili Boud fund-raiser
The Piedmont Softball Association is hosting its Second Annual Chili Bowl on Saturday, March 20 at Bill Payne Auction Gallery in Amissville from 12 noon to 5 p.m., benefiting Girls' Fast Pitch Softball. Admission is $5 and children five years old and under are free for all-you-can-eat Chili. Competitive Chili categories will include Basic. Hottest and Exotic. Hot dogs, drinks and baked goods will be available for sale. Also planned are a Cake Walk and other activities.
