Ki Theatre will present a new theatrical' performance, “Stories Run Through Us,” on Saturday, June 19 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 20 at 4 p.m. at the theatre on Gay Street in Washington.
The production is the adaptation of five autobiographical stories for the theatre. The stories were originally written for the Life Stories Workshops led by actress Julie Portman. These workshops teach people of all backgrounds and ages to write and share their own stories.
In the first production of its kind for Ki Theatre, short story writers around Virginia are collaborating with Rappahannock County actors and directors to turn the writers’ stories into stage pieces. It is hoped that this year’s production will be the first of such collaborations in
