I went to the Planning
Commission meeting on April 15. The controversial proposed lighting ordinance for Rappahannock County was up for a public hearing. A power outage knocked out electricity before the public hearing began. There was no reason for it, it just happened.
This action postponed the public hearing until May. I believe this was an act of God but there are some people in the county who would disagree.
Because the lighting ordinance was postponed it did allow the planners and their constituents to get in touch with each other to express their wishes.
