Even on Skyline Drive you can hear the echo of the motorcycles when they’re five miles up the road. Why are motorcycles allowed to have such poor muffler systems? A car making that much noise would be ticketed immedir ately.
Maybe the Fodderstack and Crest Hill speed limits can be reduced to 35 miles per hour. And maybe the police can give them a rolling escort out of the county when they arrive in large groups. Then their web sites will spread the word that this isn’t a great place for riding instead of touting our roads as “racetracks.”
