One person in the audience made the statement he could not understand why there was a tie vote since there Was only one district that is opposed to the lighting ordinance.
There was a petition circulated before the public hoaxing on April 15.
On this petition there were 301 signatures. Signatures opposed to the new lighting ordinance were collected during October and November 2003 by volunteers of Rappahannock County. The results are: Amissville 190 signatures,
