Washington’s Donna Rose competed in the Daily Telegraph’s third annual crossword competition in London on Saturday, Sept. 18. Travelling farthest foi; the contest, she was also the only person attending from outside the UK.
Donna was one of 113 persons worldwide to qualify for the finals, and was one of 57 finalists who submitted correct entries within the one hour time limit, completing her entry in 32 minutes. The winner finished in an astounding four minutes and 45 seconds.
