As a former cheerleader at

RCHS, I know how much fun it is to wear your uniform to school and be able to show your team spirit and the pride that you have for what you do. It shows that you went out to do something for the school or to cheer on a sport.

The idea that jerseys may get lost or tore or food on them is a ridiculous excuse. In the sport of football, jerseys are going to get dirty with mud and possibly blood. If you can get that out of a jersey, you can certainly get out a food stain. It is just as possible, that they can be tom in a game.

How many people have honestly ripped their t-shirt at school? Not many, so I doubt a tough football jersey would tear easily. Also, Rappahannock is a small school. If someone were to steal a jersey from the locker room or wherever, it could be found without too much difficulty.
