Study help available
A program at Trinity Episcopal Church is offering free tutoring in reading, spelling, history, composition, science, math (all levels), foreign language and study skills. Help is available Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Students must bring their work and texts with them. For more information or to arrange a tutoring time, call one of the coordinators: Emma Sue Amos, 675-2757, or Susan Laing, 937-5957. Parents are , asked to wait in the Parish Hall during tutoring sessions.
Bible club
A “Kids’ Community Bible Club” for children in grades one to three has been organized by Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and Washington Baptist Church.
