My point is that they are in such bad condition from use over so many years, I would think that the athletic director there would suggest not wearing them anywhere but in the game. We (Rappahannock) have almost brand new jerseys and cheerleading uniforms. None of our apparel is in poor condition and they most likely won’t be for a while.
So instead of taking the joy out of getting to wear your uniform on game days, just let the athletes have fun. I know it built my excitement for the game when I got to walk around in my uniform and constantly look at it knowing I had a game to go cheer for after school. The same goes with the football players. It gets them pumped to go out and play hard and work as a team. Why would we want to ruin that?
