Both Sherertz and Settle agree that there is a serious public safety issue with motorcycles of which the public should be aware.
In an anecdote offered by Sherertz. he told of trips he took on his Harley nearly 10 years ago from Fairfax County to the Shenandoah area to visit his father. "It was rare for me to ever even see another motorcycle coming through this area.” he said. "It just wasn’t a problem like it is now.”
