Recently while going through some old papers at the Rappahannock Historical Society a “Report of School Visit” caught my attention. This report was done at the Woodville School on Jan. 14, 1941. The teacher was Mrs. Keyser. It is not signed so there is no indication as to who did the report.

The interesting thing about this report is that it shows a time when teachers were interested in the individual student and teaching, not controlled by mandates and governmental regulations.
