Heard a good story lately? All of us have a story. Finding the stories, writing and sharing them is the goal of the Life Stories Workshops.
The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Washington is the setting for these highly individualized events, (fewer than a dozen people) which are gaining national recognition. There is one workshop scheduled for this fall, from Friday, Nov. 5 through' Sunday, Nov. 7 in Washington.
Conducted by Julie Portman, Obie award-winning writer, actress, and teacher, the story workshops attract people from all backgrounds and from all parts of the U.S. and Canada. Lawyers, farmers, teachers, writers, moms, dads, students, and everyone inbetween all come for many reasons. Professional writers attend the workshops because they are stuck or are interested in a new approach.
