Rappahannock’s loss to U-18 Orange last Saturday.
“We were missing a few key players that generally carry the communication on the field,” Gillis said. “And the Orange team did show more intensity than we faced against Culpeper two weeks ago.”
Trailing only 1-0 at the half, Rappahannock still had its chances to get back in the game.
“We understood we needed to get back to our game of possession and quick ball movement,” coach Dave Gillis said.
In the second half Orange continued to show solid intensity which kept Rapp 18 out of its game.
