Volunteers needed
Volunteers are needed to assist Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties in their response to medical emergencies such as bioterrorism incidents, large communicable disease outbreaks and natural disasters. Training will be offered Oct. 13, from 9 a.m.noon, at the Culpeper Rescue Squad, and Nov. 10, from 9 a.m.-noon, in the Fauquier Hospital Sycamore Room B. Minimum class size is five persons. Program on Costa Rica
Headwaters will host a Global Spotlights Program on Costa Rica Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School. Speaker will be Sarah E. Gannon. Refreshments are at 7 p.m.; program begins .7:30 p.m.
