Last weekend, I spoke with Tom Sullivan, whose shop “TbnVs Mountain Garden,” has a clear view of the intersection. He also has seen plenty of near misses and mentioned that there was an accident at the location last summer.
“Anybody is welcome on any weekend to sit on the patio in front of my shop and watch this intersection,” said Sullivan. He also asked the important question, “Do we want to make sure tourists arrive and get home safely from Sperryville?”
