Global spotlights lecture
Pete Cecere will present “The Arts and Culture of Catalonia” on Wednesday, Nov. 17 as part of Headwaters’ Global Spotlight Series in the Band Room at Rappahannock County High School. Wreath program
A program on making Del Robbia wreaths will be presented to the Rappahannock County Garden Club on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Shirley Kinnerman from Designer’s Choice in Culpeper will demonstrate the technique. Anyone interested in attending may call Susan Jones at 675-3152.
Citrus fruit sale
Citrus fruit is available for sale from any RCHS or RCES band member or by calling Sally Havstad at 987-9342. Orders must be in by Nov. 22. Fruit will be ready for pickup on Dec. 16 and 17 from 2-5 p.m. and Dec. 18 from 8 a.m.-noon.
Choral concert
The Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society will have its Christmas concert, composed of songs from many nations, at the Culpeper United Methodist Church Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. This is a ticket only concert with tickets available in Rappahannock County through Renate Chapman, 675-3502. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 for children under 12.
