Ramey heads to states

Rappahannock News Staff Writer
The Rappahannock County Panther Cross Country team traveled to Charlottesville Nov. 3 for Region B action and brought home a state qualifier.
Alex Ramey finished 12th which qualified him to compete in the state tournament that is slated to be held at Great Meadow near Warrenton on Saturday.
With the entire team running personal bests once again this week, the Panthers placed 10th of 13 teams.
“I am looking forward to going to states,” said Panther coach Mick Strand. “I am very confident that Alex (Ramey) will do well there.”
