Anyone who has ever been to an auction knows that the treasures there are often buried deep beneath layers of dirt, dust, and cobwebs.
Not so at the Child Care and Learning Center’s (CCLC) annual auction and party, where many of the treasures have been oiled, stained, painted, buffed, and polished.
The Washington School’s doors open on CCLC’s Ninth Annual Fall Auction and Party Saturday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. to benefit the nonprofit organization’s Scholarship Program, which makes tuition affordable for families in Rappahannock County.
A $20 entry fee entitles guests to food, fun and libations.
Auction-goers will be treated to an intriguing collection of rare finds, all gleaming and ready to find a new home. Always a staple of CCLC’s fund-raiser, furniture and home furnishings will be front and center on auction night, where they run the gamut from current antique to future antique.
