The Rappahannock County High School girls’ softball team traveled to Winchester for a day of hard hitting in the Millbrook Tournament, losing the first outing against the host team, 8-5.

Leading hitters for the first game were Noel Johns who went 2:4 and Rachel Gall, 2:3, both with a single and a double.

Millbrook took the lead in the first, putting three runs on the board, the score remaining 3-0 until the fourth inning when Rapp’s bats came alive.

Rapp took the lead in the fourth, posting four runs.
