Suffice to say, in Rappahannock County, the number of emergency services volunteers are seriously declining.
I believe Rappahannock county needs to implement paid emergency services very soon. Converting to paid emergency services will be a challenge for sure, but that is no reason not to make the change. Finding the right emergency services director will also be a challenge, but necessary. That person will need to unify all existing policies into a new, uniform, county wide policy. I personally believe the new director should also manage Fire/Rescue related activities
