I do know that we have been entertained many times by the bears and the other animals around the cabin. And often awed by their actions and antics.
Bad Bear
This happened last summer. Last week we were at the cabin to pick up a planting pot, and while checking out the new blooms on the butterfly bush adjacent to the utility pole, we noticed that the pole had fresh scratches on it.
An apple tree that I planted almost 10 years ago, and built a cage around, had also been destroyed, and limbs tom completely off.
We checked the pond, and the evidence clearly suggests we are dealing with a recidivist bear.
