Shiloh Baptist Association in cooperation with the Virginia Baptist Mission Board is sponsoring Impact VA! in Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock, Orange, and Fauquier counties, July 17-23. Local merchants are also supporting this event, as well as several social service agencies.
Four hundred youth and their leaders from churches all over Virginia will be coming to the area to work on 26 sub-standard homes at no cost to the homeowners.
The intent of the work is to make the homes warmer, safer, and drier.
During the event, participants will be housed at Culpeper Middle School, where they will have their breakfast and dinner meals.
Local churches will provide lunches at the job sites.
This is the second time that Impact VA! has come to this area, the first in 2002.

Hopewell Baptist church in Sperryville will be having revival services Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. with a different speaker each night, Monday: Rev. Wendell Grant, First Baptist Church in Washington.
