“Book Barn Foundation”

Rappahannock County Public Library The Rappahannock County Library Board of Trustees is soliciting bids from persons or firms to provide all excavation, grading and construction of a monolithic poured slab for the multi-purpose “Book Barn" storage building to be built on grounds of the Rappahannock County Public Library in Washington, Virginia, in accordance with approved plans and specifications. No prequalification is required for this contract.

The work includes the provision of all supervision, labor and materials to accomplish the site preparation, grading and construction of the slab Protect is to commence as soon as possible after a Notice to Proceed which shall be issued upon award, but is to be completed not later than September 9, 2205.

All term and conditions are outlined in a plan package available form the County Administration Office All bids must be received at the County Administrators Office. Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Friday, August 5. 2005, by 3:00PM, at which time they will be opened and publicly read

The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
