Wakefield Country Day School in Flint Hill is currently accepting applications for the Leonard M. Cowherd Memorial Scholarship, which was established in honor of Army Second Lieutenant Leonard M. Cowherd, III, a Wakefield Country Day School (WCDS) graduate who died May 16, 2004, in Iraq while in the service of his country.
The scholarship covers tuition costs, excluding books and fees, for a boy or girl student to attend the Prep School (grades 9 - 12).
