We watched in absolute amazement. After his play time, he walked out of the pond and into the trees. Wi had been quiet as we watched him in the water, and remained that way as we exchanged grins and puzzled looks.
Then he came back. He walked straight back into the water, splashed around a little more, and got out a second time. This time, he did not go back into the woods, but walked behind and parallel to a small rock wall that Linda had built to separate the yard from the forest.
Scratching Bear
When he got over next to the driveway, he turned and half walked over and half walked through the rock wall. That is, he knocked a hole in it.
Truth be told, it is not a terribly rigid or thick rock wall, and certainly not very high. He had apparently done this before, as Linda often has to repair a broken place in her "fence."
