Week 2
The second week was just as action packed and exciting as the first.
Campers went on a hike known as the “Hazel River Hike,” where they learned about bugs with the “Bug Man” Scott Tester, and picked wild berries which they used to make homemade ice cream. The campers studied reptiles and amphibians, chose their perspective camp sites for a Thursday night campout, and worked on various projects.
During their many camp adventures, the children were encouraged to record their experiences for a camp newspaper.
