March 2: Rappahannock News Coffee Club

March 2: Relay for Life Meeting
The second meeting of the Rappahannock County Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Team Captains will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. Everyone thinking about participating as a Team Captain in the Relay, and anyone can do it, is invited to attend. The overall plans and preparations for the upcoming Relay will be discussed at this meeting. Team packages and information to help your team get started will still be available. The last meeting will be on April 20. New teams are welcome until the day of the Relay. But team registration is critical if you want your team’s name on the t-shirt. March 3: “North Country”
End your work week on a Friday, March 3 with a flick presented by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community at the Theatre at Washington at 8 p.m, “North Country” is based on a real-life 1984 case in which a woman who endured a range of abuse while working as a miner filed and won a landmark lawsuit.
March 4: “Celtic Spring”

Conservation District Meeting
The Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District will hold their meeting on Tuesday, March. 7 at 9:30 a.m., in Madison at Graves Mountain Lodge.
