Esther Schmidt of Woodville recently was named a field editor for Country Home magazine.
Country Home, one of the anchor publications of Meredith Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa, has been published monthly for 30 years and has field editors in all the major geographic locations in the U.S. Meredith also publishes Better Homes & Gardens and Ladies Home Journal. Country Home has a circulation of more than 1,200,000 copies per issue.
As field editor for the magazine, Esther will locate welldesigned homes, talented artisans and compelling destinations and then work with the editors in the selection process. She and her husband and partner, Franklin, will then photograph and waite the stories for these projects.
