McDonald, professor of violin at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, is well known to Little Washington audiences from her several appearances there. Like Slowik, she is a member of the Smithsonian Chamber Players, the Castle Trio, and the Axelrod Quartet. Among the venues of her many recitals are Wigmore Hall, Versailles, Alice Tully Hall and the Concertgebouw.
