“On Saturday, Diley was defeated by a tough Waynesboro wrestler who was ranked high in AAA Pennsylvania rankings. He then dropped down to the consolation semi finals where he lost a controversial match by pinfall. Following that loss Jeremy wrestled for 5th and 6th place with a chance to earn a medal, but was decisioned 5-4 by a tough North Hagerstown High wrestler. Jeremy is now currently 296 with losses to AA, AAA/AAAA opponents.
“We are now gearing up for the district duals next Saturday (1/17) at Strasburg High. This will the first time the Panther wrestling team will have 10 of 14 weight classes filled. ' .With 10 wrestlers and five days of practice time we will match up better with the district teams and have a chance to compete and finish high in the regular district standings.”
