Katharine Hamilton Aldrich of Huntly graduated from the Foxcroft School on May 22 at the school’s 95th commencement.

She was one of 40 students from 11 states, three foreign countries and the District of Columbia, awarded diplomas by Head of School Mary Louise Leipheimer.

Aldrich, who plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall, was awarded the school’s top riding prize, “Miss Charlotte’s Prize for Best Rider in Foxcroft."

She is the daughter of Jennifer and David Aldrich of Huntly.

A national champion eventer. she was a co-captain of Foxcroft's equitation team, which won the Tristate Equitation League Championship, and w'as a member of the school’s eventing team.

She also participated in a riding exchange program with the Stonar School in England and traveled with a select group to fox hunt in Ireland.
