Substance Abuse Serv ices has a job opening for a full-time Residential Counselor to provide training/assistance to individuals with developmental delays, who may have co-occurring behavioral and/or medical issues. Services are delivered in individuals' homes and during community integration activities. Also responsible for documentation and data collection to meet Medicaid Waiver and state licensure standards, and will provide input into assessments and service plan development. Work schedule may require day. evening and/ or weekend hours Required to transport in program vehicles the individuals served. Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or other human services field. Six months experience in a related residential program or setting is preferred Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background. driving record and credit checks, and TB test Valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence Will be required to obtain the following certifications: CPR. first aid.
