business. Toward that end, members discussed possibly renaming the association to reflect a broader mission. Brown said “that these topics would be on the agenda for WHVA’s next meeting in August or September.”
WHVA members also reviewed numerous requests from local and regional groups for sponsorships and binding. Final decisions about such requests will be made later by WHVA’s executive committee which consists of its elected officers.
The meeting, held at the new RAAC Community Theater on Gay Street, ended with a wine and cheese social hour featuring food and beverage produced by member businesses.
