Remembering
The Grant-Letts family of Sperryville traveled to Bedford Va., to the National D-Day Memorial where they attended the 65th anniversary commemoration to recognize and honor their father and grandfather, James F. Williams. The memorial pays tribute to the Allied Forces participating in the largest land, sea and air operation in history: the invasion of Normandy. June 6. 1944. Williams served in the 8th Infantry Regiment. 4th Infantry Division. Williams was in attendance with his wife. Margaret, and daughter Kathryn Weatherby. From left, back row: Justin Grant.
