The Salem Fire Hall was the setting on Saturday for a surprise birthday party honoring Margie Lee Williams, hosted by Mr and Mrs. Harvey Tharp and attended by 40 guests.

The cake was made byMartin’s store bakers, also in purple and pink, along with a bounty of food enjoyed by all.
As if that wasn’t enough Margie had another great surprise on Wednesday when at the Rappahannock Senior Center Darcy Canton chose her to be “Volunteer of the Month” for December for all her work there with the seniors.
