ees gathered for a potluck dinner on Sunday in the Town Hall on Gay Street to celebrate the Christmas season. The hall was beautifully decorated with running cedar greenery and candles in the windows and on the tables.
The food was out of this world. One would have to say guests did not leave the Town Hall hungry, according to Laura Dodd, the town clerk.
The Rev. Jennings Hobson III gave the blessing and everyone enjoyed the good food and fellowship.
Then out of nowhere appeared Santa with gifts for the little ones. Everyone joined in singing Christmas carols.
